The Transjectual Fund

Care shouldn't wait on affording it.

The Transjectual Fund pays for gender-affirming treatment, including electrolysis, laser, injectables, skin health, therapy and, once launched, hair transplantation, for people who can't afford private care and won't survive an NHS waiting list of four to seven years.

The Transjectual Fund is a restricted fund inside Transjectual Ltd. It is not a registered charity, and donations made directly to it are not eligible for Gift Aid. If Gift Aid matters to you, give through our partner campaign with Not A Phase, a registered charity, see below.

Who this helps

Priority goes to people the system already keeps waiting.

Every application is assessed on need, not on how the request is worded. We ask people to tell us what they've already tried before applying.

  • Low-income trans individuals
  • People on years-long NHS gender identity waiting lists
  • Patients with urgent need, such as risk of job loss, housing insecurity or mental health crisis
  • Those requiring long-session electrolysis ahead of surgery elsewhere
What we fund

Support is capped per treatment, not per person.

Someone can draw on more than one line below across a course of care, reviewed by the committee as they go.

TreatmentFunding cap
Long-session electrolysisUp to £1,500
Injectables, feminisation or masculinisationUp to £500
Skin health protocolsUp to £300
Therapy and counselling blocksUp to £600
How your donation works

Two campaigns, so you can choose what your gift does.

We're not a charity, and we won't dress the Fund up as one. Give directly to Transjectual, or give through Not A Phase if Gift Aid matters to you. Either way, the money reaches someone waiting for care.

Governance

The people deciding where this money goes.

Published here, not just in a policy document, because you should be able to see who's deciding before you give, not after. The committee meets monthly through launch, then quarterly.

In partnership with Not A Phase

A partner with a seat at the table, not a logo on the page.

Not A Phase already stands with us on the Pride campaign. This makes it structural: a vote on the committee, a share of every pound raised, and a campaign of their own that we actively send people to.

Not A Phase is a UK-registered charity supporting trans+ adults. Their seat on our Fund Oversight Committee means an independent, community voice reviews who gets funded, not just Transjectual staff.

Every donation to the partner campaign above goes to them directly and in full. Every quarterly update on either campaign is cross-posted, so their supporters see our numbers and ours see theirs.

The first stories will live here.

Coming winter 2026

Once the first funded cases complete treatment, their stories go here, with their consent, in their words. Nothing is posted without it.

Corporate and institutional giving

DEI budgets and foundation grants welcome.

For sponsorships, matched giving or a foundation partnership, we'd rather talk than route you through a web form.
